order and communication data (descriptions of parts, photographs, messages)
billing data (company name, Company ID, VAT ID, registered office)

Processing of inquiries and price quotes – legal basis: pre-contractual relationship (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR)
Order fulfilment and invoicing – legal basis: contract performance and legal obligations (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (c) GDPR)
Customer communication – legal basis: controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR)

4. Retention period

We retain personal data only for the period necessary to fulfil the above purposes:

data from unaccepted price quotes: 12 months
data from completed orders: 10 years (statutory obligation to retain accounting documents)

We may share your personal data with third parties only to the extent necessary, in particular with:

shipping companies (when sending parts)
accounting service providers (for invoicing)
IT service providers (hosting, e-mail)
public authorities, if required by law
